Haus Friedwart—the former villa of the Leitz family—is a fascinating, comprehensive masterpiece of Art Nouveau and modernism. As this historic building is not open to the general public, views of the interior are exclusively available as part of a guided tour. During this tour, your guests will dive deep into the life and times of the entrepreneurial family and experience the very place where pioneering decisions for the history of photography were made—a special addition that perfectly complements a visit to Leica Welt.

Wetzlar boasts one of the best-preserved historic old towns in Germany. On this guided walking tour, your guests will stroll through romantic alleys, passing striking timber-framed houses and the famous cathedral. The tour also bridges the gap between the city’s optical history and the literary footsteps of the young Goethe, who was once inspired here to create his world-famous masterpiece.

For a completely flawless experience, we are happy to coordinate your group's overnight stays directly on campus. At the Ernst Leitz Hotel, your guests will stay in a modern, stylish ambiance that carries Leica’s design language and photographic art right into the rooms. From a convenient check-in to the optimal room arrangements, we handle the entire coordination with the hotel for you. This ensures your customers wake up refreshed the next morning, ready to start another inspiring day right here at Leica Welt.
The package price includes the respective program items, all advance coordination, internal alignment between the various departments, and personal on-site support for your group by a dedicated contact person. Not included in the package price are costs for hotel rooms, food and beverages, transfers, external guides/supervisors, and other third-party expenses. Our additional services are requested on an individual basis, are subject to the availability of our partners, and will be confirmed to you separately upon successful booking. Additional services will be invoiced separately if costs are incurred by external service providers or through direct consumption.
