Exercise, socializing, and the joy of good design come together in the Photographic Social Ride to create a shared experience. The focus isn’t on setting personal bests, but on riding as a group, connecting with like-minded people, and blending road cycling culture, photography, and design.

On August 15, 2026, the Photographic Social Ride will start at Leica Welt in Leitz Park in Wetzlar. Together with our partner Delta Bike, the approximately 50-kilometer ride will wind through the region’s diverse landscape and end back at the starting point.

The group will ride at an average speed of 23 to 25 km/h. The tour is intentionally designed as a communal riding experience: consideration for others, conversations along the way, and arriving together are the main priorities. At the same time, the route requires a basic level of fitness and is aimed at experienced cyclists who can safely maintain the planned pace over the entire distance.

After the group ride, the day wraps up with a get-together at Café Leitz. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, make new connections, and reflect on the ride together. In addition, participants will have the chance to try out various Leica cameras in Leitz Park and experience the connection between movement, photography, and high-quality design in a unique way.

The Delta Bike Social Ride will take place on August 15 from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The start and finish are at Leica Welt in Leitz Park, Wetzlar. Participation is free of charge, and the number of participants is limited to 30. The route covers about 50 kilometers at an average speed of 23–25 km/h. Participants must bring their own road bike or suitable bicycle, as well as the appropriate equipment. Afterward, there will be a get-together at Café Leitz.
